First page of my adaptation of "Los ojos verdes" (Green eyes), on "Leyendas" (Legends, as you guess!), from Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, one of the most important spanish writers.

The text is on spanish, if you're interested on the translation in english, please ask it.

I know it's never going to be published, but it's been nice, working on it, and imagine it on libraries...

Stunning illustrations! Makes me want to read it. Alas, my Spanish is not quite as good as I'd like it to be. Much of that vocabulary eludes me. But I shall try!

Yo tenia la misma idea, sabes? Ilustrar las leyendas de Becquer... empece tambien con los ojos verdes, pero vamos, a años luz chica... ¡lo tuyo si que es arte! Te mereces una edición, aunque sea cutre, pero merece salir a la luz (yo lo compraria XD)

m no se... supongo que tu lo sabras mejor que yo, pero informate, porque aunque no sea en editoriales grandes... lo mismo el ayuntamiento o la casa de la juventud de tu ciudad t puede publicar... o lo mismo alguna asociacion cultural... te lo digo porque a mi me publicaron un comic y eso que era cutre no, lo que le sigue tras veces... XD
Aunque sea una cosa pequeña, merece la pena (no se sabe a manos de quien puede llegar!)
no pierdas la esperanza! ^^

This is beautiful! I love the mix of monochrome and color, and you have amazing skill with watercolors, being able to use color and light like you do. Wonderful and evocative, even without knowing what the text says! (I wish there was some sort of translation available!) Great work!

It´s a legend by a famous spanish writer, about a man who´s obsesed with a woman he founds in the woods...i searched the text in english, but didn´t find it :(

Tiaaaa cuanto tiempo ¿Sabes que yo tb hice ilustraciones de esa leyenda? Hace algún tiempecillo de ello, pero recuerdo que me gustó mucho. Es genial como lo has plasmado... muy bueno. Yo estoy intentando volver a la brecha un poco, que es una mala é;poca esta que me toca pasar.
